Covid-19

As COVID-19 information continues to evolve rapidly, we want to ensure you that our organization is prepared. We have procedures in place to prepare for and help reduce the spread of illnesses such as COVID-19. Our management team actively monitors updates and guidance from the State Health Department and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The following should help answer most of your questions, however, we are happy to help guide you through the process of finding a great community for your loved one.

Prevention – We are committed to providing a safe environment for our residents and a safe workplace for our staff. Residents and staff are monitored daily for any signs and symptoms of the virus. Asymptomatic carriers are known to spread the virus as well, so we have an ample supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), disinfectants, as well as medical-grade air purifiers utilized by our staff to keep a clean environment in each of our communities.

Testing – We have testing available as needed with results in as soon as 24 hours. If any resident or staff member shows signs or symptoms, they receive testing immediately. If any resident or staff member has a positive test, then the rest of the residents and staff are tested to track any spread of the virus.

Visitation – At this time, each community is facilitating visitation in accordance with State and Federal guidelines.

Socialization & Life Enrichment – The spread of COVID-19 has not stopped the spirit and enthusiasm within our communities! Our residents are active and enjoy vibrant activities like drum circles and dancing, word puzzles and brain games, gardening and outdoor walks, and crafts tailored to their fashion. We continue to encourage socialization within our communities while utilizing social distancing and face masks.

Staffing – Our staff members are trained in infection control and utilize PPE during their shift. If any employee feels sick or has signs or symptoms of the virus, they are asked to stay home. If multiple individuals call out sick, we have staff solutions in place to cover any remaining shifts. We have added employee benefits during this pandemic to ensure our staff members are well taken care of and remain healthy.
